Answers to common questions about booking, payments, and text reminders.

Bookings & cancellations

Open the "View my bookings" link from your confirmation or reminder, then choose cancel or reschedule for that appointment. If your link has expired, just request a new one with your phone number or email.

Each barber sets their own policy, so check your booking confirmation for the exact terms. A common setup is: a full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours ahead, 50% between 24 and 48 hours, and no refund within 24 hours of the appointment. Some barbers are more flexible and some are stricter.

If your barber cancels your appointment, you always receive a full refund of anything you paid, regardless of timing.

Payments

It depends on the barber and service. Some require full payment when you book, some take a deposit now with the rest due at the shop, and some collect nothing online so you pay in person. The booking page shows which applies before you confirm.

No. Payments run through Stripe's secure checkout, and your card details never touch ChairFlowIQ's servers. You can pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any major credit or debit card.

Refunds go back to the original card or payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank, it can take a few business days to appear.

Text reminders

Reply STOP to any text (UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, and STOPALL also work). You will get a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will not receive further texts. Reply START at any time to opt back in.

Reply HELP to any text to get a short message explaining what you can do and how to reach your barber. Standard message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

If your barber has text reminders turned on, you will typically get one about 24 hours before your appointment and another about 2 hours before. Barbers can keep texts to daytime hours (commonly between 8am and 9pm in their local time) so you are not pinged late at night.

Your account

For your security, these sign-in links expire 15 minutes after they are sent. Just request a new one by entering your phone number or email, and a fresh link will be sent to you. For safety, links are limited to a few requests per hour.

Check that the email address and phone number on your booking are correct, and look in your spam folder for the email. If you still cannot find it, contact your barber directly — they can see your booking in their dashboard.
